tuesday confessional.....

this is taken, in part, from a friend's blog, so i thought i would give it a try....

1. i hate that i'm so trusting of people or niave, as to think that my dad really cared about me. huh, my mistake

2. sometimes i wish i wasn't teaching in primary (that's sunday school for kids 3-11) so that i could get to know the ladies in the church. most of the new kids that i teach i only know their parents as " this is zach's mom or truman's dad" its really sad and it doesn't help steve out at all, who is such the introvert that he doesn't really know any of the guys except for paul, whose gaylene's husband and only knows him cause he stands outside the primary room. and scott, who is our home teacher, the elder's quorm (a big bunch of guys) president and the dad of one of the kids we teach.

3. i get so crazy if my aptartment isn't clean, and i don't have any children to use as an excuse as to why its not clean. i always seem to act like its my grandmother coming over to inspect the cleaniness of my home.

4. i never thought that i would love to shop at walmart. i mean really shop, like clothes and shoes. i love this one outfit i bought, polyester shirt and skirt, the skirt is black and the shirt is red. oooh, mer, remember those blakc sparkly pants from freshmen year?? that's what made me think to get them, and the fact that work gave me a giftcard to wally world.

5. i seem to love a man in uniform. i really like it when steve comes home from guard and dang. cept the marines dress uniform is the best. even hubby agrees.

6. i don't think i'm to weird to have a rock garden, at least i can't kill it. oh, by the way, christina my poinsettia is still alive!!! i know right, i haven't killed it... YET!!! oh, and thanks for the addition to my rock garden, its grown from my apt to work!! i really like the quartz crystal.

7. i don't think i'm all that creative, that is until i get a christmas card from grandma hansOn (steve's grandmas have the same last name, but one is hanson and one is hansen. so we call them grandma e or grandma o) that said " your card was really cute" or when my artist friend kristi want's to figrue out how i did something... i'm still now gonna try to paint. maybe paint by numbers! or a rock map!!!

wow, that did feel good.

1. You're not naive. You're hopeful. And it doesn't matter how he feels about you -- WE love you. And we outnumber him.

2.When Cam went to basic training, the bishopric thought that I wouldn't want to sit by myself in sunday school, so they called me to be primary pianist. And Sac meeting was LAST, so I showed up to church and sat by myself behind a piano for two hours. You could try talking to your bishop and say that you love being in primary, but you're both really struggling to make friends in the ward. I'm sure they can help.

3. I've only discovered this now that I'm married and have kids -- EVERYONE's apartment is messy. We just hide dishes and laundry in our bedrooms when company comes over. It's the clean people that are the freaks.

4. My favorite top of all time, the one that strangers compliment me on, came from Walmart.

5. RIght there with you, babe.

6. I didn't know you had a rock garden!!! I'm totally sending you new additions to "plant"

7. You are one of the most creative people I know! And I LOVE your cards -- especially since I am soooooo not crafty like that. I don't know how you have the patience to do all the details. It absolutely amazes me. I LOVE the cubes you made us -- Sammy keeps grabbing them and playing with them, and i love it because he now has something he can play with with cameron's face on it.

Welcome to the confessional club -- once you start, you can't stop.

your right, i can't stop. i may have to do it every week. as for the patience, i built it up waiting to see if i ever was gonna get hitched. that sounded bad, but you know what i mean. and rocks are heavy, so it might cost a lot to send them. but i am always willing to take in new additions. i got a really pretty marble opal!
