Arizona

So right now i'm sitting in a hotel room in phoenix, steve brought his lap top. last night was awesome!!!! we were out at the race track for 7 hours i think. i got a new hoodie!! it has a sprint car on it! we went to hoover dam thursday. it was awesome inside. we took the really long tour where you get to go deep inside the dam. i cannot believe the history behind it. i promise to post pictures when i get back, the sd card is inside the camera and the camera is in kyle's car. then thursday night we went to freemont street in las vegas (never been and man it was cool!!) after that, us "kids" me, steve kyle and alex went down the strip. we went into m&m world, i got the cutest bear there and then to coke a cola where we got sprint and coke in glass bottles. we watch the bilagio water fountain show. didn't make it to treasure island, mainly cause it was 10:30pm and we were walking zombies. alex hadn't slept since the previous night as she was working the night shift at the hospital. me and steve were running on 5 hours of sleep. so we went back to the hotel and slept til 4am (or 5am mountain time). we left early so that we could get to phoenix at a decient time. yesurday we wen to the captial. it was really pretty. the plan for today, racing tonight and shopping this morning.

yucky

so, i didn't get the job that i interviewed for friday. i did get to go to hockey sat! but then i got sick sunday and it was a good thing that i didn't have to work yesturday as i was still and currently am sick. but i can't leave work, cause i won't get paid for it. that really sucks. i got plenty of tissues and drugs to keep me sane, hopefully. i really want to sleep though. i've been up since 3am. and i was tossing and turning before that. ugh.

I enjoyed reading that. I love that steve buys me flowers "just because" and he was doing that before we got married. I would come home and out of the blue there'd either be a single rose or an arangement of flowers. i think once i got flowers for my birthday, but other than that, he hasn't done flowers for our anniversy or birthday or valentine's day. which i don't mind at all.

and as for resturants, we sometimes have a date about once a month, depending on the time of the year. we had a date actually last night. went to texas roadhouse, love the road kill. its fun, bc its something different and not expected.

oh, and i get to go to a hockey game sat, which the aggies are also playing basketball up here that night. GO AGGIES!!!! go STEELHEADS!!!

on a different note, I have an interview friday for the job i submitted my resume to last week. send good thoughts my way please!

i learned something sort of cool too, a mormon returned missionary is going on survivor! i think i'll watch it this year, plus they'll be in brazil! ok, guess that's enough for now.

I like medical spending accounts!! they just posted the amount we submitted two weeks ago, yea for money!! now i just need the government to pay me my annual leave.....

I've submitted one more resume today. This one, I'd really like, as its with GIS and they didn't really say how many years expierence they wanted. and its with Power Engineers, which is a great company and its growing and expanding. please send good thoughts and juju my way.

career fair

well, there's a job/career fair today, in downtown boise. so i'm leaving work in an hour to go. keep your fingers crossed...

*update*
So, i took 30 mins to walk around the job fair today. there weren't a lot of employers. I only talked to one place, as it was with the government, so i could possible get a job. but that was about it. I think it just shows how weak the job market is.
